Congress Agrees on Continuing Resolution to Avoid Government Shutdown; SBA 504 Loan Program to Resume Oct. 1

更新: The CR passed both chambers and was signed into law by President Biden on Thursday, Sept. 30, 2021.

The Senate is expected to pass a continuing resolution (CR) today (Sept. 30) to fund the government through Dec. 3, 2021, and avoid a government shutdown. The bill contains language to ensure the Small Business Administration (SBA) 504 Loan Program operates 不间断 在CR.

The bill will be sent to the House, where it is expected to pass, at which point it will head to President Biden’s desk for signature. The SBA will be able to begin the process of issuing 504 loan approvals starting on 周五,10月. 1.
